These technology coaching sessions provide one-on-one support across everyday devices.
The below list is not exhaustive — if you have a specific technology challenge or goal in mind, please reach out to discuss how I can help.
1. Phone / Tablet
- Set up and personalise your phone (calls, contacts, notifications, display settings)
- Send messages, photos, and voice notes on common apps
- Use maps, transport, and everyday utility apps with confidence
- Manage storage, updates, battery life, and mobile data
- Learn simple troubleshooting for common phone issues

2. Laptop / Desktop

- Understand computer basics (files, folders, downloads, and desktop navigation)
- Use email, web browsers, and video calling tools effectively
- Create and edit documents for personal or work needs
- Install, update, and organise apps safely
- Improve speed and confidence with shortcuts and practical tips
3. Online Safety
- Create strong passwords and use password managers

4. Support at Home

- Accessing MyGov/Medicare/My Aged Care portals
- Booking telehealth appointments
- Video calling family/support workers
- Managing scripts, pathology results, appointment reminders
- Emergency features (ICE contacts, fall/emergency shortcuts where available)
SUGGESTED SESSION PLAN DETAILS
I offer a number of technology confidence coaching sessions packages to suit your needs.
A single session, a 3 session pack or a 6 session pack.
The topics within these displayed packages are suggestions only and I am more than comfortable to tailor these to your needs when we have our discussion.
STARTER SESSION (1 × 60-min session)
Best for: 1-2 urgent pain point or new device orientation to boost your confidence.
SESSION PLAN:
Choose your top 1 to 2 needs:
- Mobile: calls, contacts, text/WhatsApp, scam spotting, photos etc
- Tablet: larger-screen messaging, telehealth video calls, reading/news apps etc
- Computer: email basics, web safety, printing, folders/files basics etc
OUR APPROACH:
- 10 min – Review your device and confirm your top priorities
- 40 min – Progress with your 1–2 high-value tasks on your device
- 10 min – Repeat once + create cheat sheet + agree homework
OUR GOAL:
- By the end, you’ll complete this task yourself without help.

CONFIDENCE PLUS (3 × 60-min sessions)
Best for: Beginner or Intermediate seniors who want to cement their digital foundations confidence.
SESSION PLANS:
- 1. Essentials + Safety Session
Device basics (buttons, volume, charging, Wi-Fi), password basics and scam/fraud awareness - 2. Communication + Services Session
Calls, text, video calls (family, doctor etc), calendar/reminders/alarms and relevant Health & Government applications usage - 3. Daily Life Skills + Reinforcement Session
Photos/share/manage storage, safe online shopping/payment habits with emphasis on repeating key tasks to re-inforce newly acquired skills

OUR APPROACH:
- Continually repeat tasks to re-infornce learning, create your personalised cheat sheets + agree homework
OUR GOAL:
- After 3 sessions, you can manage core daily digital tasks safely and confidently.
INDEPENDENCE PLUS (6 × 60-min sessions)
Best for: long-term habit building and cross-device confidence (phone + tablet + computer) for complete independence.
SESSION PLANS:
- 1. Confidence Baseline + Setup
Device settings, accessibility, goals, starting confidence score. - 2. Phone Mastery
Communication, contacts, camera, messages, emergency features. - 3. Tablet Mastery
Video calls, reading/streaming, health apps, larger-screen comfort. - 4. Computer Mastery
Email, files/folders, browser use, downloads, printing/scanning. - 5. Safety + Problem Solving
Passwords, scam simulations, updates, backups, “what to do when stuck.” - 6. Independence Check + Graduation
Client performs all key tasks alone, troubleshooting practice, future plan.

- By session 6, you’ll confidently use phone, tablet, and computer for communication, appointments, services, and everyday tasks with minimal support.
